Recommend your "regular" coffee maker
I want a traditional coffee maker (no keurig, no espresso, etc)
TIA. (the bigger the better, 12cup )

Re: Recommend your "regular" coffee maker
Cusinart DCC-1200
had one for a few years, dropped something on it and broke it, and bought another. It makes great coffee and I'm a coffee snob who grinds their beans.
I would say to anyone, coffee makers need to be cleaned periodically, running viniger through them, replacing the water filter (in this one) for the best tasting coffee

Re: Recommend your "regular" coffee maker
We grind our coffee too!
I never knew to run vinegar through it. Do dilute it?
We've had our Krups (makes espresso too) for years, but really want a coffee only maker. One with a larger than 10c pot too

I have a cuisinart one with a stainless steel carafe that I like. I also have the cuisinart "two to go" that brews right into travel mugs, you can do 1 or 2 cofees

We have a krups grind and brew, which I love. It's 10 cups, not sure if they make a bigger one.

I use the farberware percolator. I am also the type who doesn't like to see the coffee machine on the counter so when I am done I put it away.

Same here. Love how my coffee tastes from a percolator. My DH hates seeing it on the counter (very limited space), so it gets put away after each use.

Re: Recommend your "regular" coffee maker
yes I dillute the vinager, basically using 50/50 with water.
The coffee maker has a clean cycle. I run the "clean" cycle through it with the vinagar. the 2 brew cycles with just pain water.
I find keeping it clean, replacing the carbon filter etc, really make a difference
Also grinding your beans fresh every time you make it makes a difference too.
