My "I'm going to be a mom aha moment"

I've always been extremely career focused...doing whatever is required to move up the corporate ladder and putting my career ahead of everything else. So today I get a really cool opportunity at work -- something that could really set me up for the next level -- and I say no. I knew in my heart that I couldn't do that job and be in my third trimester. And now I'm not even sure I WANT to do that job in the long run because it would mean sacrificing a lot of time with the my baby.

Sorry for the ramble...it's just all hitting me today that my entire life and priorities are about to change! I feel utterly unprepared but kind of excited that my entire perspective is about to shift.

Isn't it a great feeling? I never thought I'd want to put something else in front of my career which I worked so hard for. Incredibly hard and competitive education. Now I want to be a SAHM
