Bikini Area: Laser
I have my first appointment and I'm nervous. How should I prepare? Should I take Motrin or something beforehand?
I can get standard or brazilian and I said standard because I got nervous. Did anyone get brazilian? Or did anyone get standard and wish they got brazilian?

Brazilian and I didn take anything.
I think its because my laser tech has a great machine and Its very tolerable.

Brazilian and I took 2 advils that morning because I had a headache. It is very, very quick. I am a big chicken and I survived.

If you're going to do it, do everything.
To me, it feels similar to getting a tattoo (painful but managable) but it's literally over in 5-10 minutes. It will hurt more if you have darker skin as they use a diff laser but you can buy a numbing cream if you need

I dont tip. what I pay is she gets, in her pocket.
You do strip down and normally the tech will provide a paper thong..lol.

My girl offered to do this as a gift to me when I got my lip done last time (to make up for being on the phone yelling at her daughter for twenty minutes  ) but I declined because I was embarrassed. 
I'd LOVE to do the brazilian but i'm not sure what that includes. Can someone explain as descriptively as possible without grossing everyone else out? lol sorry if that's a dumb question, i'm too embarassed to ask her

I could be completely wrong but I thought the laser center I'm going to send it includes the lips where the standard does not. She was using some term that I had no idea what she was talking about.
I guess I'd like to know too...thanks for asking.

 it sounds horrid....I would love to do it but have no idea how i'd ever muster up the courage

Where do you girls go to get this done? I am not looking to do bikini, but looking to do other areas. There are so many places that I don't know which one is better than the next.

I had it done several years ago. From what I remember, taking tylenol or advil beforehand helped a bit. It was kind of painful but not too bad. They put ice on your skin right away and that helps. I definitely don't regret having it done. I chose standard, I don't know if I could have tolerated Brazilian
