Summer Baby Touch! We have been using it for DS and love it! It pans, zooms and tilts, has multiple camera options, speaker and a scan feature!

I HIGHLY recommend a video monitor. I can't tell you how useful it is to be able to see baby (as an infant, I would check to make sure his chest was moving up and down - you know, first time mom jitters Chat Icon, and as he got older, I would check to see if he was just fussing because he got his arm out of his swaddle or if he was standing up or laying down, or whatever. Now at almost 2, we still check on him to see what he's doing if he happens to be crying and also to see about how long it takes him to fall asleep after we put him down).

We have the Summer Infant Best View and it's great. There's a newer version now. It pans all round the room, can zoom in etc.

I love my Angel Care. The peace of mind of knowing that ds was still breathing & ok his 1st year was priceless to me. It's expensive, but I registered for it & 3 extended family members went in on it together & got it for us...

ETA: I think that they have an Angel Care model with a camera now too...I don't have that one, though. I have the one with just the sensor pad.

. Angel care is amazing. I'm still using it at 17 months. Without it I would never slept. Iam getting a second one for this baby!!! I also have a video monitor but I don't use it because I love the angel care monitor. Well worth it IMO

QUestion about ANgel Care Monitor. I heard that these are only good when the baby is small and doesn't move alot. After 6 months, my DS was all over the crib. He is still a very restless sleeper. WOuldn't the alarm go off alot if they move?

. My dd is restless too and she has set the alarm off a few times but not a lot. At this age I know she isn't going to stop breathing so I don't freak out but most nights it never goes off. When she was small and not as active she only set it off once and than dh and I jumped out of bed but she was alright she must have just held her breath for more than 20 seconds.

We stopped using the sensor pad once ds turned 1, but when he hit about 8 months or so we started getting a few false alarms. After a few of those in a row we adjusted the sensitivity of the sensor pad a bit & it pretty much stopped happening.
