Madonna Perinatal

I know some of you ladies see them. If you have seen them and you have an explanation of benefits can you please look to see who they are billing under these days. I unfortunately have the Empire LIJ IPA for insurance. Dr. Goldstein is listed in the directory but 3 years ago when I saw them last they billed everything under Dr. Faustin. I don't even know if Faustin is still practicing. But if they bill under him it would be a way around having to take IPA patients. I don't want to go there and get nailed with a large bill. My OB says that Goldstein is on staff at Southside so he must have signed up for the IPA but if they don't bill under him it doesn't do me any good. Basically if you can look at your EOB and tell me the doctors name they bill it under I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for anyone who read and understood this :)

You don't want to go to. Nslij md? Fir me I find that anytime I go outside the IPA list I get slammed with a bill.

I only have to deal with this stupid IPA for 2 more months. Then we have ins with dh's new job and it is a straight up Empire. I can not wait to be done with it. I am high risk and will be going to Madonna NST and BPP's for the second half of my pregnancy. I am hoping to go to Madonna for the nt scan to keep everything in one office. I have been told it is important to have your blood drawn at the same place for the nt scan and quad or the results can be off. Plus I live in Suffolk and a trip to Brightwaters is much easier then NSLIJ. But not worth the $750 deductible and 20% co insurance. Thanks for the response

I go to Madonna and my EOB's show Dr. Bergman and Dr. Plummer. I haven't seen Dr. Goldstein yet for his pregnancy, but even when I did last time, never saw an EOB listing him....

I was billed under Dr Goldstein.
