how long do you wait...
before you go pee after  ???
i know its an odd thing to ask...but before we were ttc, i would go right after. now that we are ttc i know that i should wait a bit...but how long?
i dont sit with my legs up or anything like that (yet) but figure not going to the bathroom immediately is a step in the right direction...
last night i waited 10 minutes and then just felt like i needed to go and clean up (sorry tmi  ). is that enough time? do you wait longer?

I went right before we and then kind of waited- let my DH use the bathroom first and clean up and I kind of just held my pelvis up and then when he was done I ran in to pee and clean up- probably about 5 mins total.
But then again WTH do I know- I can't even POAS properly

i read your other post...glad you got the opk working this morning!!!
dont feel bad, i got the first response digital last month and there were many mornings i was half asleep and tried to put the piece in the wrong way...the good thing about that one though is it wont let you put it in backwards

I wait as long as I can stand it!
I usually go right before, but always went after to keep from getting UTI - let's hope all this wait time doesn't give me one

I used to always go right after, but this month I've been trying anything and everything, so I've been waiting hours to pee (since I'll go right before) and I've done the whole pillow/elevation thing, hoping this isn't all for nothing, b/c if I get a UTI I will be one p!ssed off mutha!

I tried to wait as long as possible. I've read 20 minutes of laying after is sufficient.

and i held mylegs up for so many months and my doc says whatever went up will go up..holding yr legs up does nothing
some people swear by it but after 2 years i held them up long enough

I've always gotten up and went immediately to avoid a UTI and got PG twice so I don't think it matters that much. I might lay there a min or 2 now but but thats about it.

My doc says there is no proof that elevating your hips or trying to defy gravity will help in trying to conceive....I get up immediately and pee but I guess it couldnt hurt

i usually lay down with my legs up for about 20 minutes. i know it may do absolutely nothing but it gives me some peace of mind. i wash up afterwards
