With AF right around the corner, the baby comments come in...

Today is CD 28, about 10 DPO, and AF is due any time from today on.

Yesterday, I was talking with a male friend I know through work. He asked how my belated honeymoon was (DH and I just went last week after being married over 2 years!), and asked if there was a honeymoon baby in my belly. I was kind of caught off guard by the question since I don't know him that well (and because I actually ovulated during the honeymoon, so we were hoping for a honeymoon baby!), and just responded with, "Is that what you think happens on honeymoons?" If I end up being pregnant, I can look back and laugh at his comment. If not, then it's just one of those things.

Then last night, DH told me he was speaking with his mom on the phone and told her he's going snowboarding this weekend with some of our friends. She asked if I was going, and when he said no (Just because I don't want to), she said something like, "Well, I hope that things are aligning the way they should", implying that she thinks I'm pregnant.

And beginning last night and so far this morning, AF cramps are in full effect

UGH!! how awkward....why would someone even ask that??? I don't know what I would say when taken off guard like that.

A few months ago at work I was looking on the box trying to figure out how much caffeine was in a Kcup (I wasn't pregnant, but was trying) and a colleague of mine said, "what are you doing? are you pregnant?" i guess some people people just assume when you're at a certain stage in life that it will happen...if only it were that easy!!

AND, one of my mom's friends actually asked her this month if I got my period. THANKS MOM for telling everyone I was trying!!!

I stopped drinking due to a diet, and I get the look when I'm out with friends, but after the first few months they all stopped asking. The only question i got recently was from my BFF's husband, he only asked if we were still trying or if we were taking a break. I said break. I don't like everyone knowing that I am "trying"

BTW: we are taking a break from agressive TTC, we are just and seeing what happens!! DH thinks that will work better!!! haha! We shall see!

it is so frustrating! friends that have kids or are trying dont seem to ask, but family and single friends jump all over me when i dont have a drink in my hand. two weeks ago at a family party my aunt says to me...oh well i guess you arent pregnant since you are having coffee...the entire table was silent when she said it so the questions begun...oh youre trying? you should do this that and the other thing. so annoying

that's always an awkward conversation to have with someone...especially out of the blue. They're basically asking you "Hey- hows that copulation going for you? Fruitful yet or just for fun?" gross.

if you wind up not pregnant this month I think I'd punch that co-worker! what a rude thing to say, I'd find it a little gross for a male co-worker to ask what's in my belly! lol Then again I wear my disgust on my face sometimes, I just can't hide it when I think someone's an idiot! I"m sure you handled it better than I would have....and hoping the cramps are not really from AF!!! good luck!!
