Your last shower was over 6 yrs ago.. It's like starting over. I say let your mom throw shower for you. Those who r against it will decline but in my opinion everyone loves buying baby stuff. I say yes have shower!

Regardless of time I think it's fine if someone wants to throw you a sprinkle.
The idea behind it isn't the same as a baby shower but rather to do a little something. Most sprinkles that I have attended or hosted are small gatherings among close family and friends. The gifts tend to be diapers, wipes, clothing and other basics...the things people would give when visiting the new baby anyway and usually items that are needed regardless of how many children have already been welcomed into the family.
If your mom wants to throw a sprinkle I say enjoy!
