Got a new sofa (for free!!!) for our LR! Need some ideas...
So excited and grateful to have an almost-brand-new sectional w/ huge matching ottoman. Our old one was in such bad condition but getting a new one was wayyyy down on the list. A family member sold their very large home and are now in a condo for a while, so instead of paying to store their less than a year old beautiful sectional they donated it to us forever! They are going to get new stuff for a new future house. Insert 100 of these guys:  !!!!!!!
A couple questions (I love decorating other people's rooms and giving advice but when it comes to my own I take a while to make decisions)... what color pillows would you do? Curtains? We want to change out the white curtains. And we did move the rug out a bit so it looks better..
Also for that corner behind the middle of the sectional (it's not an L it angles in so there is a pretty big space back there), I would love to put a table back there for drinks, can I find something like that? It would have to be a corner table or a triangle shape.

very nice! I love the rug too! Are te walls green? I would say to do blue accents because of the rug but you would have to find something to work with the green then too.

OMG that couch is amazing!! It is HUGE! I wish we had the space for something like that!
I have no decorating tips I just wanted to drool over your new "donation"!

Looks great! You should definitely be able to find a small table for the corner. GrandInRoad.com and Ballard have great accent pieces...

I would get a triangle shaped table and put a lamp on top of it, and if possible a telephone.

Thanks, yes the walls are a gray-green (BM nantucket gray) and the rug has tan, off-white, blue and brown in it. I think I can find accent pillows, but stumped about what color curtains. I really want to change out the white!

I agree with one of the pps about blue. It's my favorite color and think it goes with pretty much everything and since it's all neutral, it would give it that pop of color you're looking for. I would do sky blue throw pillows and curtains with blue in them too. Perhaps a pattern to make it stand out.
Love the sectional btw. Enjoy it!

that's so exciting! congrats!
my sectional is basically the same color and we did brown and yellow pillows
not the best picture but you get the idea. my walls are yellow though so that's why i went with the yellow. my curtains are brown (like the pillow) and then i did light beige sheers.
ETA: don't mind the extras on the couch 
i think you should match the wall IMO because y ou might change the rug before you change the wall
