Lactose-Free Meal ideas for DC?
Anyone have any suggestions on good things to make DC that are lactose-free?
I have a really hard time finding LF products where I live - especially a good substitute for butter or margarine (pretty much all the ones I see on the shelf contain dairy). Cheese also is a challenge, as DC is only 10 months old and can't have goats cheese, etc. I find no being able to use cheese and butter really limiting when it comes to new things for her to try!
I know that under a year old, dairy babies can have cows milk in their food that is cooked. Do you think I can I do the same with LF milk in DD's food?
Any ideas would be welcome!

For cheese we use Cabot Cheese. They make cheddar and one more I believe. I serve her that with crackers.
I believe some of the cold cuts are LF (I think Boar's Head)
We use Lactaid Milk when making things that require milk.
We still do use butter b/c DD just has a lactose sensitivity so can tolerate some dairy.
BF is usually pancakes, waffles, fruit, bagels, toast
Lunch is cold cut sandwiches, soups, cheese and crackers
Dinner is whatever we are eating, meat, veggies, pasta, meatballs...etc.
