Does threading hurt less than waxing?
Curious if I should try it. I'm a big baby...waxing really hurts!

Threading hurts alot more, but I love it so much more than waxing. They get a much better shape with threading, plus the wax used to irritate my skin

threading should NEVER hurt and if it does, it's because they are using the wrong kind of thread.
best place is Daisy Spa in Centereach
the owner (one-woman shop) is amazing.
her threading NEVER hurts, unlike other places.
I asked her why and she said she uses a better thread (I believe a wax-based thread?) so it doesn't hurt.
love her. I trust no one else to my eye brows.

This is true along with their technique...I find if they push harder against my skin it doesn't hurt.

I think it depends on who does it, I NEVER had it hurt at the 2 places I used to go to in NY. but since living in NC, only 1 lady was gentle. but I love the results so I still go to the same place (not many places to choose from here  )

Threading never hurts. It may be a tad uncomfortable but never painful. I will never wax again. No more irritated skin, and the occasional layer of skin missing. I love threading!

They both hurt IMO. But I love threading.
I also find that the less experience the person has, the more it hurts.

I feel the same way, will never wax again. Plus a lot less redness after.

IMO, yes. Threading is one hair at a time while waxing is one, two, three rip! I prefer waxing.

I prefer threading. It doesn't hurt much to me... Kinda just like a tweezer. I hate waxing BC of the potentially hot hot wax and the anticipation of the quick rip!

First time I got threading done it hurt a bit - actually caused me to tear up. Every since it has been more or less painless. I recommend threading because the shape they can get is amazing!

I don't find either painful. I will never wax again though... I love threading. It's so much neater and cleaner! And lasts longer if you ask me.
