Yay or Nay on this tv stand..ETA: One more question :)
We need a corner stand which is difficult to find in the store. I found this one online. Our room is not at all done yet, we don't even have paint color! It is for our family room and I want a very relaxed look. I do not want a cherry type of wood because I have that in my living room. The couches are green.
ETA: My DH thinks it will be difficult to find a coffee table to match. I say that they do not have to match but can coordinate..what do you think would look good with this?

I once had a corner unit and it was from Ikea...just another idea for you to check out if you wanted.

Love it and I agree with you............just find something coordinating, even if its a different wood. I have mixed woods, looks nice.

I like it a lot!! And I think we have the same sofa.
For a coffee table, I think a trunk style might work with that, even in a lighter wood. Maybe something like this TRUNK
or a leather oversized ottoman like this THIS

Thanks! We were defintely considering an oversized ottomon. The color of the tv stand is a painted antique black.

We almost bought this tv stand, but it wasn't in stock. They have it at the Furn a Kit in Holbrook. It's actually a really nice piece.

Like it!
We recently got the Metro II corner tv console, plus matching coffee and end tables from raymour and flanagan. Just a suggestion if you want matching pieces. (website color is off, much darker in person )

I like that. I would actually suggest a fabric ottoman with a pattern. It will help break up the Darcy couch and dark unit and add some personality to the space. Then get some coordinating pillows for the couch.
And for the record, we have quite a bit of wood in our living room and none of it matches, but they all work together.
