A little nervous (a little tmi)
AF was incredibly painful last month. Went to see OB and was diagnosed with endometriosis. DH and I decided to take some time off to work on losing more weight. I started my shake program last week. I have no clue when I ovulated this month. I think I am on CD 22. My nipples are a little itchy and my areoles look darker. We only a few times on cd 13 and 14. I am so scared that by that very small chance I was I could be hurting the bean by doing the shakes. It is a 800 calorie diet. I took a test and it was neg. I don't want to stop the shakes and get a bfn. I also started metformin this month. Can you get darker areoles from anything else?
Thanks

Not that it is ANY of my business but that sounds like a diet that is not good for you regardless of TTC or not. I would find another way that is healthy at any point in your life.

if you were pregnant you would find out soon enough and your diet would have no effect on the baby. however if you were preg (even early) and only eating 800cals a day you would def feel hungrier than ever before...

I agree wth others. You need to eat at least 1200 - 1500 calories, otherwise you go into starvation mode and eventually will start bingeing. Add in a real dinner or something.

Re: A little nervous (a little tmi)
It is a medically supervised diet through Winthrop Hospital. I started a year ago and lost 115 pounds so far. You do the shakes for about 3-4 months while being monitored. During the time you attend a class to learn about food and behavior. It is tough but it but it saved my life because they are able to do tests during that time. I wasn't TTC this month we had an oops and now I'm scared. I worked really hard to lose the weight I lost.

Did you ask your gyno? Maybe they would have some insight. Or try asking the hospital you go to if you should change anything if you are TTC. I would make both doctors aware of what is going on on the other end.

i agree with this. Also i dont think you should worry. Just pay attn to af showing/not showing so if u are Preggo you will know 1st thing and can stop the shakes.
