Oh. My. God. Anyone watching 20/20???????
I'm want to start off by saying something. I don't judge anyone, nor will I ever say that something they do is wrong and disgusting. I understand that when couples are desperate they will try anything to have a baby. And I say god b.ess you. Do what is right for you, and if this is the way that works for you, more power.
So. I am in shock. I'm watching 20/20 and it's this story about women who are turn to the Internet for free sperm to getpregnant.
This one couple realized the man could not reverse a vasectamomy. So they met a man they met on the Internet. He did his thing in a cup in their hotel room. Theynall shook hands and then she turkey basted the sperms. I want to be clear that I'm making sound worse than the story presented it.
I just am without words. I'll be honest. Meeting a stranger for fresh sperm to get pregnant just seems so scary to me. They can just be ANYONE. They can say they are one thing.
The next story is about Trent who has donated to 50 women a year. One woman met him at his house and took his donation. Her partner turkey basted her in the car while they drove home.
So, I guess the whole thing is shocking to me. Once again, I don't judge. I'm not saying it's wrong, nor do I have an opinion about these women's choices. I'm just baffled that they can go to THAT extreme to have a child. Just thinking about the dubious nature of the men, no screening, no nothing.
And frankly, not much different than just going to a bar and having a one night stand.
I can say, thoug,that this story is shocking.

The main thing that comes to my mind is STD's!!!!! Ummm hello...do these people want to get HIV! Ugh!

I saw this last night. The part the disturbed me the most was the married man who has not told his wife, but it is participating in the "natural fertilization" part (aka cheating on his wife).

He said that he has at least 10 kids not with his wife.
That poor woman is now sleeping and having sex with every woman HE is. To put her in that danger is digustingBEYOND imagine.
The danger these women put themselves into just boggles the mind.

I actually know someone who did this (not personally- friend of a friend). She ordered sperm off the internet and tried to inseminate herself. She wasn't in a relationship with anyone, just desperate for a baby. Its really sad. Thank goodness it didn't take
