Help me pick paint for this room...

We need to repaint the whole ground level of our house. We didn't do it when we moved in and its time.

This color goes thru the entryway of the house and the dining room and kitchen. I am open to something similar but I'm also open to change! These pics are really old so I've since changed the pics on the wall (and the ridic height my DH hung them at, hahah)

The challenge is the chairs are blue brown and beige upholstered...I was thinking of putting in a chair rail and doing a lighter color on top and a darker one on the bottom...thoughts?

I'm thinking something in the gold family. Let me look up this BM color...its BM Dorset Gold.

I was also thinking something along sage, but your LR is green so that's out.

Here is another one I like, its BM Chestertown Buff.

We're painting the front of our bedroom (that alcove), which will be the baby's nursery in BM Urban Nature.

I have Dorset Gold in my current home in the kitchen. It is very mustardy looking.

I thought I was going to use Urban Nature in one of the bedrooms in the new house we bought and are renovating, but after the contractor put it on the wall I changed my mind. It is is a very grayish green...kind of depressing. It didn't look like the paint chips I saw of it. I am not sure if you would want it in a baby's room. Make sure you sample it.

What about a grey/beige color like this

Baja Dune-BM

I used it in my upstairs bathroom and hallway. I think we still a little left if you want to sample it.

We have a chair rail with lighter/darker in our LR/Playroom. We just painted it, it's a pumpkin color on the bottom and a toffeeish color on the top (we used Olympia paints, but I wouldn't use them again, horrible coverage!). It looks great and I think it would look nice with the blues in those chairs and that dining set IMHO
