Set Over the Edge
My best from from High School who always said she wasn't sure if she ever wanted children just called me to tell me she is pregnant. She is super excited because our other friend is due in a few months with her second.
Yesterday I saw my friends new baby and my other friend is coming by with her new baby to meet my parents tomorrow. It's just all around me and this news just broke me.
This just set me off and I can't stop crying.
I know we haven't been trying that long... but we would have started MONTHS ago if my stupid OBGYN hadn't insisted on a surgery that two other doctors then said was a bad idea. I wish I has gotten a second opinion immediately instead of letting it push me off over 6 months.

I'm sorry!! Try not to kick yourself too much over the past, there's still hope for a 2012 baby for you and I hope it happens soon so you and your friends can all share the experience together!!

I have been there! All of my girlfriends were having babies around the same time and would get together often for "playdates" They always invited me... I broke down many times and sometimes didn't go! You need to take care of you and your well being. If you don't want to see your friends for a while, that is OK. My friends thankfully got it after a while.
Be good to yourself. It is a stressful journey at times!
