Re: Medicated IUI dosage
I was put on Gonal-F when were TTC my DS... I'm pretty sure that is what we will start with this time around when going for DC#2.
They played it VERY safe with me and wanted to take it low and slow to avoid hyperstimulation. We started out at 37.5u for a few days, after they saw that I wasn't responding, they increased it to 75u. I was on 75u until maybe CD15 and there was still nothing going on. They increased my dosage again to 175u and that was the magic number for me. I stimmed for 20+ days compared to many ladies who only stim for 10-15 days. I produced 4 nice sized follies but after the trigger shot, I only ovulated 1 before my IUI. That was the cycle that we got our BFP.
Your dosage really depends on your diagnosis and how well you respond. They might have to keep adjusting it like they did with me.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!

Re: Medicated IUI dosage
I was typically on 5mg of Femara for 5 nights and 150IUs of gonal every other day for a week.
I say typically... because it wasn't like a standard protocol. Sometimes I'd go in for monitoring and I'd need a few more days of gonal.. etc.. but on average, that's what it took.
Good luck!!
