The least amount of clean

DH and I have a friend coming over after dinner tonight. He's been here a million times before, and seen the house in various stages of disarray. Of course I put cleaning off until the last minute, and now I don't feel so good. What's the least amount of cleaning I need to get done before he comes over? I feel like you ladies will be brutally honest and get me off my butt!

Tia!

Wipe down the bathroom (it's mry one huge pet peeve,mi hate gross bathrooms) and run the vacuum quickly. If the TV is dusty I might take care of that but I doubt he'd notice dust anywhere else. Feel better!

Bathrooms are #1. Clean them up good and make sure the toilet is clean, under the seat too! I always vacuum and wipe the floors down too with a wet swiffer, I hate hair on the floor, but it's inevitable all the time.

#2, clear counter space. I find it makes things look a lot better!

give a quick vacuum. dust obvious areas.

Feel better and have fun!

Swish and Swipe the bathrooms.

Declutter common rooms for 15 minutes.

Dust obvious areas.

Vacuum the "middles" - not under furniture and stuff just the middles.

Quick mop floors - again just the middles.

Empty and clean kitchen sink, declutter and wipe down counters.

I would just sweep (or vacuum if you have rugs) and clean the bathroom.

Re: The least amount of clean

put papers in one pile, put shoes in one place or things blocking the way to walk off to the side, close the doors to any bedrooms that are a mess and dont clean them at allChat Icon , sweep, spray and wipe up any spills in the kitchen. unfortunately i think the bthrm needs a lil more attention which i hate too but idunno, i would feel weird if there like hairs and stuff around. so i would say clean the toilet (atleast the parts that can be seen) and wipe down the sink and the facuet and any dirty towels, throw in your bedroom and put clean ones out (not fancy ones of course)

bathroom, vacuum, put away personal items, dishes in the sink. Give the house a good spray of something or light a candle...and don't stress.

I agree, def start with the bathrooms by at least wiping down sink and toilet. Then if you still have time clear away some clutter and vacuum.

Thank you everyone! The kitchen was already clean so I wiped down the bathroom, vacuumed the living room and took a nap! When I woke up, DH had cleaned the rest of the house Chat Icon Happy new year all!
