You're mission...should you choose to accept it...
I'm working till 5. Party at 8.
I have to assemble cake pops and put together a giant cupcake.
I also want to bring an app. The one I'm famous for is way too much to do in negative time
What is something great and takes no time to make?

Mix together equal parts sour cream and cream cheese (I did 16 oz.) with taco seasoning. Layer with shredded cheddar and salsa...and voila! You're done!
Another option is to mix together 1/2 cup of sour cream, 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 1 tsp. dill weed, and 1/8 tsp. garlic powder, and you'll have a great vegetable dip!

In a food processor combine 1 cup roasted sweet red peppers (I use the antipasto ones from B&G) 1 block of cream cheese and 1 (I use a bit less) envelope of hidden valley ranch powder. Pulse until smooth. Serve with tortilla chips. So quick and yummy.

This one! I usually just layer everything and then microwave it once I get to the party. I serve it with Scoops.

I was also going to suggest this one. You could also stop at a pizza place and get garlic knots, or fresh moz pizza and cut it into squares.

Re: You're mission...should you choose to accept it...
I just wiped up this....easy (especially if you have a hand-blender) Jalapeño Popper Dip 2- 8 ounce packages cream cheese, at room temp 1 cup mayonnaise 2 cloves garlic minced 1/2 tsp cumin 1- 4 ounce can chopped green chilies 2 diced-sliced sliced jalapeños- double 1 1/2 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese 8 pieces of bacon, cooked & chopped
Topping 1 cup panko bread crumbs 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese 4tbsp stick butter, melted
In a food processor add the first 6 ingredients and process until smooth. You do not need to drain either can of peppers. Add bacon & Cheese. Spread the dip into a greased 2 quart casserole. In a bowl mix bread crumbs and the 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese. Pour melted butter over top crumb mixture and mix well. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly over the dip and bake in a 375° oven for about 20 minutes. You want the top to get browned and the dip to be heated through and bubble gently on the edges. Do not over heat this dish or the mayonnaise with separate and you will have a grease puddle in your dip. Serve with Buttery crackers or a sliced French baguette. Serves 8-10.
