Metformin and the flu
Have any of you felt like you have the flu when beginning metformin? I have a low grade fever, sore throat, runny nose and sneezing. DH and my mom are sick so I could just be sick but I am just scared because I have to watch for lactic acidosis.

I didnt have any symptoms from Metformin. I hope you feel better though :)

No, I never felt like that on Metaformin. I have taken doses from 500 to 1500 now...it hurts my stomach and makes me tired...but other than that no flu like symptoms. I am sick now with a URI... so I think you might be sick too! Feel better!
