We are getting DD a big girl bed tomorrow. The one I love is white, but her dresser that matches the crib is espresso. If I should have another baby down the road, I would use the crib and dresser for them and buy DD a new dresser.

Should I get it anyway (for now) or find something to match the dresser?

I guess I should also mention that she has a white chair rail and the bed I picked is not bulky its more of like a wrought iron look, not wood

The bed is similar to thislink

Do you have a picture of the other furniture? I would need to see it before I can give my opinion. I think it is really dependent upon what the rest of the furniture looks like.

We did the matchy-matchy thing when we set up both of DC's nurseries/rooms, but now that they are older, I realize that it doesn't matter at all. They don't care, and they sleep just as well on matching furniture vs non-matching furniture... Chat Icon Chat Icon
