Just got some answers...advice please IVF?
So, I have my own issues possible PCOS, high testoserone, irregular periods. I have been doing clomid, progesterone, and acupunture for about 8 months. My husband when he was first tested had borderline low sperm count and mobility. Second time he did as well but, he got the wrong info about obstaining. Then we did one more SA and that one I just got back. He has low mobility and low count. The doctor said since I have no IF coverage that its a waste of money to even do IUI.
So, now she says my best chances are IVF. Should I take a break and save? Open a CC? I just never thought this would happen. I never thought it would come to this.

We have similar issues- pcos and DH has low morphology. The chances of me getting pregnant on our own or through iui are so slim so we did IVF after 3 failed iui. I truly believe with our issues IVF was the only thing that would work.
Have you looked into studies that cover the cost if IVF? Also, some clinics offer one price for 3 ivfs.

Check out studies. There is one going o right now. They offer financing too that may be better than CC.

I qualified for the first round. I was trying to wait to see them as my last resort. I don't know much about them.

 If I could give you one little bitty piece of advice, I'd say don't waste your time on iui.
IVF is so controlled and monitored. You deserve as little drama as possible. Good Luck!

i am no doctor...
we have similar issues on the female side..
we did 8 iui's and were moving on to ivf until i ended up in the hospital with a blood clot and know have to wait until it is gone
looking back...i wish i went straight to ivf..after the first 3 did not work i think i knew they would not work and did not accept that i needed ivf
and we do not have mf issues..i just think ivf is sometimes the best choice
that is is just me though

i just wanted to add..if the bills r piling up if it was me i wold rather them be from a ivf cycle even though it would be a bigger bill than a iui

Yes, I agree. My dr says that since the count is low for DH it would really be a waste of money. I just don't know where to start. I feel lost.

If my insurance allowed me to go straight to IVF I would have. I wasted time and $ on IUI's.... Just my opinion tho!
