Purchased 200 points with my sister to Saratoga.

We are AP/TIW holders. We go to Disney every year. We take my parents with us. The first couple of years we were able to get a 2 bedroom for us and 1 bedroom for my parents. Since the point allocation and time of year we have to go we only reserve the 2 bedroom now. We still have plenty of room.

Share an experience or tip: watch your banking window so you don't lose points, you can transfer points to another member once a year, if you are short a few points you can buy up to 10 or 15 (???) for one time use. Use the wait list if you can't get what you want - I have had a 90% success rate.

Share an experience or tip: If you forget to bank, you have a one time banking exception where they will bank your points after the deadline.

Also don't forget about the Doorway to Dreams in the Roosevelt Field Mall. Such a great way to get a piece of the magic when you are missing Disney

Share an experience or tip: If you want a really nice vacation without all the "Disney" stuff go to the Vero Beach or Hilton Head locations. They are both beautiful with lots to do for the kids--of course!

Share an experience or tip: We love being DVC members!! It is perfect for us because we were always having to get 2 rooms being that we are a family of 6. As the previous poster mentioned, don't forget about HH and Vero Beach. We haven't been to Vero Beach yet, but we we've been to Hilton Head several times and are going back for a week this summer. We love it as much as going to Disney World!!!!

Share an experience or tip: We do a trip with just us in a DVC regular room every other year. We have been saving our points and doing a big trip the other years and inviting family and friends. This is the second time (in September) that we will be staying at the large 3-bedroom villa at BLT. I can't wait!!
