Bummed out bc I think I may have missed my ovulation

I had my iui about 24 hours after my trigger shot. I only triggered bc I "thought" I had a natural surge when I got a but my bloodwork from that morning showed otherwise. Not sure if the medication could have caused a false??? Anyway, I felt o pains around 20 hours after my iui. The semen counts were good and I had lots of follies but could the sperm have lived that long???? This cycle was perfect except for timing and I just don't want to get my hopes up if in reality I don't have a chance

did they tell u to trigger?

if u triggered 99 out of 100 u ovulated and having a iui 24 hrs later is perfect

If they told u to trigger I think u should still be ok with the timing! Even if it was off sperm live for a few days! So as long as they are in there waiting for the egg then u still have great chances.

Thanks gina and ellie. To clarify I was given the ok to trigger but only because I had an unclear positive opk and they didn't want me to miss a natural surge and the trigger would just help. Honestly... I think it was a false I definitley felt the ovulation pains 20 hours after so I'm hoping the washed sperm was still there but can't stop obsessing and reading on the internet!
