Bummed Over Missed Offer

So I interviewed nearly 3 weeks ago for a position and thought it was nearly in the bags 'cus the hiring manager called my references last week.

Well I emailed her this week and she emailed back saying she liked my skills, blah blah, but she decided to hire someone else internally.

I wonder if my salary expectation was too high for the role. They did ask what it was. Anyway, I'm quite bummed as I would have liked to work there.

So fed up with interviewing lately, I got another one in 2 hours and it's probably my 15th interview in 3 months! No kidding! :(

Lots of luck. Believe me, I know how frustrating it is. Its always easier to look for a job while you already have one.

The right one will come your way.
