Weaning off prednisone

Question for ladies who have been on prednisone during early pregnancy....when did you wean off and how long did it take?

I am 7 weeks pregnant now and am on 10 mg 2 x a day and this stuff is making me miserable! I was pit on it for elevated NK cells, but have just had my immunological panel redone and everything is in the normal range. Anyone have experience with this? I was told I woukd be coming off of it soon but I'm looking for specifics ;) TIA

I was on 20mg. If I remember correctly, I went down to 10 mg once day for a week and then I cut the pills in half and did 5 mg once a day. So 2 weeks total.

I had horrible horrible withdrawal symptoms but that was due to a ton of other factors. Good luck!

eta I would have weaned off at 12 weeks if I didnt have a mc.

I started at 15mg. Was told to take 10mg for 5 days, 5mg for the next 5 days, and 1/2 of a 5mg pill for another 5 days to wean.
