Charge for medical records
I need my old medical records from one of my RE's bc 1) I didnt like her and 2) I moved. They are charging me $25, yowzers! I dont have a copy and would like to keep one on file for myself and provide to future RE. Am I not entitled to my OWN medical records??? Paper does not cost that much - UGH so annoying!

it is typical for Drs to charge you. Its not only for the paper but their time.

NYS law says you can charge a maximum of 75 cents per page.
