I did it myself a few times. Just kind of have to twist a little. Or you can call your RE and see if it is ok to do in your thight this one time. I did my Delestrogen in the thigh to spare my butt!

Yes...I learned to give it to myself for when DH was not around. What I do is look in a full length mirror or one where I can see my backside. I then lean against a nearby wall..standing on one leg with the other up, thereby placing the bulk of my weight on the other side and then injecting the needle into the side where the leg is up. Pretty easy.

I give you ladies credit  I just now started doing my sub-q injections and I was on the verge of a panic attack from them!!! I don't think I could inject that huge asss needle slow like I do the other ones

Took me three cycles to be able to build up to doing these shots myself so I hear you. I still only do them myself if I absolutely have to. Definitely not for the faint of heart...but was not bad at all once I knew I had to do it myself.

Just tell yourself why you're doing it, I found that I was able to do just about anything with that motivation.

I do all IM injections solo. I do as PP said. I stand side ways in front of a full length mirror and lean on the opposite side. Once I did it myself, I never wanted anyone else to do them. I thought it was less sore the next day and after I started doing them I never got that achey feeling the next day. Good Luck!!
