What is your favorite cooking/cooking related item?
It can be cookware, gadget, appliance, etc? Looking for some ideas for Christmas. I already chose a few items from Le Creuset and a multi tier oven rack. I also want the Slow Cooker Revolution cook book from America's Test Kitchen and the a mag subscription from Food Network. Any ideas?

Re: What is your favorite cooking/cooking related item?
I realized this week that I love my kitchen/cooking scissors. I especially use them to cut up certain foods for my 2 yr old. I also found them useful for cutting up fresh herbs. I use them all the time. I also cut up raw meat/chicken and to trim the fat off of meat. They are just really versatile.
I can't believe I just gushed about kitchen scissors. Who have I become?

I am so with you on this! I got a set of 5 or 6 KitchenAid scissors at Sams and love them all!
I would add good knives and a sharpener, kitchenaid mixer, All Clad saute pan, crockpot.

Re: What is your favorite cooking/cooking related item?
I agree with the list maybeamommy posted. I would add a garlic press, silpat, measuring cup with fat separator spout, and great knives. Also the mixer attachment for the kitchenaid mixer with the silicone sides attached.
