no AF, and no BFP, 15DPO
so I had what I thought was implantation spotting on Wednesday (which would've been very early for me for my period, if it was), and then yesterday I started spotting AGAIN If AF is coming I would expect her today or tomorrow, I'm still spotting but it's really nothing compared to what AF would usually be....so I still feel like I'm in limbo, I don't know what to think!! I'm going to run to Dollar Tree today and buy some cheapie tests b/c I really think I need to POAS every morning until a full flow AF shows up this is such a head trip
ETA: 16dpo and AF is officially here AND with cramps, the nerve of that %#$@!
I am so convinced I had a chemical pregnancy....I NEVER spot 5 days before my period shows up, that mixed w/ all the other symptoms I had last week (i.e. sore throat out of the clear blue that went away within a day), I really think my body is flushing out the unsuccessful implantation w/ AF, especially since I am having KILLER cramps today. Since I miscarried previously I feel like I remember these cramps all too well (although these are definitely not as severe). I know I'm getting ahead of myself but this has me so worried, like should I see a high risk ob/gyn??? Thanks for listening to me babble, I am just so nervous today for some reason

Are you temping? If not, you may have miscalculated your O date.

Re: no AF, and no BFP, 15DPO
digital OPK's...but honestly I didn't use OPK's this month (I figured I'd wing it then spend more $$ on them this month)....my cycle has been 34/35 days like clockwork, with a 14 day LP, so I've been basing it off of that, I know, I know, that's really not good enough since our bodies never run like they're supposed to I'm hoping since I didn't formally track it this month that that means I'm not necessarily out yet....

still spotting, I'm beginning to think AF is F'ing with me this month and I'm just not going to have a "normal" flow....I bought some Dollar Tree tests today, I'll take one in the morning if I'm still just spotting, but I'm really thinking I'm out this month! thanks for the anti-AF vibes Gina!!

Re: no AF, and no BFP, 15DPO
thanks guys.....it sucks b/c all these weird things that went on w/ me last week I actually feel like maybe it was implantation and it was unsuccessful, I read that it could happen and then it would just get flushed out with your menstrual cycle, fun times lol

Re: no AF, and no BFP, 15DPO
was af due at the right time?
a chemical would most likely happen after af was due..i mean the spotting before would not be it
i am only going by what i know from the 3 i have had..all were positive tests after af..then 3-4 weeks later they were gone and i started to bleed

Re: no AF, and no BFP, 15DPO
if you had a chemical you probably would've tested positive first. if you spotted five days before AF you may have just had low/fluctuating progesterone. since you aren't entirely sure when you Oed your AF may not even be late.
theres really no reason to assume a chemical here. ive had two and AF came late but pretty normal. the first chemical AF was late but i was on progesterone so that might be why, and my beta was VERY low. bleeding and cramping were normal. second chemical beta was much higher and AF came a week and a half later. AF was longer in length but otherwise not too different.
sorry it wasnt your month

Re: no AF, and no BFP, 15DPO
thanks guys, my best friend is a nurse and from talking to her it sounded like it could've been, I was really just feeling worried like there's something wrong w/ me, I think in a way there are feelings of blame that I never got over from the miscarriage (which might be why it took me two years to be comfortable trying again). Thank you for making me feel better!! I would much rather think that it wasn't a chemical pg b/c then I won't sit here analyzing everything! I'll just keep thinking positive thoughts for next month

I guess b/c I FELT the same way I did last week the last time I was pregnant, and then I went out for drinks after work on Thursday even though I thought I had implantation bleeding on Wednesday, I can't shake this feeling like I did something wrong to mess up implantation, I know I shouldn't do this to myself but I did the same thing when I miscarried, I couldn't shake this feeling like I didn't take care of myself or I lifted something heavy, I know I shouldn't think that way but I guess when you feel like YOUR body lets you down you can't help it. I'm sure a lot of other women who miscarry or have trouble conceiving feel the same way, I need to try and be positive and feel confident that I WILL have a healthy pregnancy. jeez, just writing this has me tearing up, I'm kind of glad I'm using an incognito name while I ttc b/c it is helping me talk about some feelings I've suppressed since the miscarriage!

Re: no AF, and no BFP, 15DPO
i have felt i have been pregnant 20 out of the almost 24 months i have been trying
and when i was pregnant i think i had less"symptoms" then when i was not
you did nothing wrong and did not mess up any implantation..i really think you just got af and it was not a chemical..with getting af normal time and no positive tests it is hard to make that assumption..don't beat yourself up bc i think it was just not the month..not a misscarriage month
drinking a coupe drinks did not mess anything up and you need to realize you did nothing wrong..that is very important
how long have you guys been ttc? do you have any fertility issues to make you think something is wrong?
trust me trust me i know how frustrating it is when we hope for something to be wrong just to give a reason why it is not working but the grass is not always greener or cheaper for that fact on the other side
it stinks plain and simple when your body lets u down..i have been mad at my body for years ..but i have to know..even on the days i cry all day and i have plenty of those..that one day it will be our turn...it is what keeps me from crumbling every day..i just have to have faith i mean i was starting ivf and ended up in the hospital with a blood clot! talk about shiity timing..i have never been healthy and it suucks but i am hoping this old broad's body will hold up once for a 9 month span..just once
please do not blame yourself..you did nothing wrong..fm me anytime u want to talk and or vent! sometimes u just gotta get it out

Re: no AF, and no BFP, 15DPO
We've been trying again since July....I am regretting not trying sooner since I'm 32.....but then again my mom started having kids at my age so hopefully genetics are on my side.
Trust me I don't want to think anything is wrong, I was just wondering (Out loud lol) whether I should consider a high risk doc especially since I am changing ob/gyn's regardless. I am sorry if my rants seem naive to you guys that have been posting on here regularly.....I should probably refrain from posting every fear and concern, I know everyone else has stuff going on too. Thanks for listening, I appreciate your advice!
