stopping birth control pills
did anyone experience any crazy symptoms or changes when they stopped bcp??
i have heard from some weight loss and someone today told me they became extremely moody (they started having mood-swings and became extremely sensitive - crying at tv commercials etc)
is this normal??

It is hormonal so anything is possible. I did put on a couple of lbs on ortho tri and lost it when I went off but thats about it.

I had a ton of symptoms. I broke out in hives for a week straight. (the only thing I did different was go off the pill)
I also have very bad motion sickness and have noticed that it has gotten much worse now.

I noticed that I get more pimples since being off of it. And more cramps during the month.

My skin has been horrible and my periods heavier... now I remember why I went on it in the first place when I was 15.... (for those things, not for actual birth control)

I noticed my cramps were worse when I first got off but I have heard it will take your body a few months to adjust.

I honestly either didn't notice or had no symptoms when stopping. It was so much easier than I was expecting!

Definitely had some crazy symptoms since coming off BCP. Most mimicking pregnancy symptoms. Sore boobs, cramping, mood swings. Now into my 4th month off the sore boobs stopped finally! !

I gained a few very stubborn pills, more pimples than I ever remember having and i tend to get a tons of cramps throughout the month... mainly between ovulation and AF but other times too. Oh... and the first couple months I was a extra emotional.
ETA: very sore boobs too!

As soon as I came off, my skin broke out. It was almost instant! Also, I got very, VERY bad headaches at first.
However, ON BCP, I had longer periods than I do off...
