Weekly Menu 12/4
Getting a head start since I'm going shopping today!
Sunday: buffalo blue cheese mac and cheese with grilled chicken
Monday: chorizo quesadillas with chipotle lime cream and Spanish rice
Tuesday: roasted vegetable meatloaf with balsamic glaze and roasted Brussels sprouts
Wednesday: upside down chicken with mashed potatoes
Thursday: black bean soup with garlic bread
Friday: Mom's chicken soup with egg noodles and matzoh balls
Saturday: out

Saturday: Rough day.. chicken breasts with quick gravy, rice, broccoli
Sunday: MIL cancelled. PW's Pork chops with apple maple sauce and bacon cheese grits. Also quickly sauteed sugar snap peas with a little butter.
Monday: Leftover Bolognese, Pasta, Italian bread, Salad
Tuesday: Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches with homemade blue cheese on whole grain buns, carrot and celery sticks, Kettle chips
Wednesday: Take Away (probably pizza)
Thursday: Grilled Steak, Campfire Potatoes, Broccoli, Tomato salad
Friday: TBD

OK, I'm attempting a Skinny Taste week (starting Sun since that's when we're shopping) to see if it can jump start some weight loss
Sat: Shepard's Meat Pie
Sun: ST Lighter-Chicken-Francese over Smart Taste Linguini & Salad
Mon: ST Carne-Bistec-Colombian-Steak over White Rice
Tues: ST Sicilian-Rice-Ball-Casserole with Salad
Wed: A twist on ST Coconut Chicken I'm doing Coconut Shrimp with ST Make-Over-Corn-Casserole & Salad
Thurs: ST greek-turkey-meatballs in Whole Wheat Pitas with Lettuce, Tomato & Cucumber Salad and Skinny-Tzatziki
Fri: Pizza for the boys/Leftovers

Tonight-? I may also try those greek meatballs with tzatziki and greek salad
Mon.- Flatbread with roasted red pepers, spinach, goat cheese, grilled chicken and balsamic glaze with tortellini soup
Tues.- Honey baked spiral ham with candied sweet potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts
Wed.- Zesty bbq chicken with cole slaw and baked beans
Thurs.- Baked potato & ham soup with ham and gruyere paninis
Fri.- take out

Monday-stealing the ST Little J's idea for Greek Turkey meatballs (looks like heaven!)
Tuesday- no beans chili over brown rice
Wednesday- ST beef Potato Quinoa Soup
Thursday-some kind of Burger (DH will do)
Friday and Sat????

Mini Meatloaves, Mashed Red Potatoes, Roasted Brussel Sprouts
Steak topped with Balsamic Glazed onions, Baked Potatoes and Garlic Roasted Asparagus
Turkey Black Bean Chili and Corn Bread
Crispy Oven Baked Chicken Cutlets, Sweet Potato Wedges, Roasted Brocolli
Tilapia and Chicken Tacos in corn tortillas with cabbage slaw, avacado slices fresh salsa and a bit of sour cream

Easy week for me.
Saturday - grilled burgers/cheeseburgers with caramelized onions, salad, chips
Sunday - had a big lunch so I just made a spinach salad with warm bacon vinaigrette
Monday - turkey cutlets, buttered egg noodles with poppy seeds, steamed green beans
Tuesday - DH is out, making WW bubble up pizza for the boys and me
Wednesday - I'm out, DH is on his own
Thursday - going to our Village tree lighting so we'll eat out
Friday - crispy gnocchi with pesto, sauteed broccoli rabe
Saturday - some kind of fish, roasted brussels sprouts, wild rice

saturday -Grilled strip steaks, foninta romano risotto, steam green beans and sauteed mushrooms
sunday - in-laws for dinner
monday - Baked soy marinated salmon, cous cous, sauteed spinach
tuesday - Turkey meatloaf,
brown rice, broccoli
wednesday - pasta with white clam sauce
thursday - chicken cutlets, leftover risotto, veggie TBD
Friday - leftover chicken cutlets or meatloaf or take-out.

Sun: whole roasted chicken with lemon and thyme, sauteed escarole with white beans and carrots, warmed baguette
Mon: lentils over pasta with spinach
Tues: arroz con chorizo, refried black beans, avocado salad
Wed: Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, lingonberries, sauteed spinach
Thurs: out

Sunday: Shackletons with my family
Monday: Baked pizza turkey burgers with a side of ziti in homemade sauce
Tuesday: PA Dutch noodles in a butter sauce with a side of mashed sweet potatoes
Wednesday: Rigatoni ala vodka with homemade garlic bread
Thursday: Tex Mex pumpkin patties (recipe from Disney Family Fun)

Saturday - Dinner at Dee's Brick Oven Pizza
Sunday - Nothing...we just weren't hungry. 
Monday - Eggplant, red pepper, ginger, mushrooms, asparagus in a chili sauce with rice noodles.
Tuesday - Falafal and hummus in pita; side salads.
Wednesday - Rigatoni with light alfredo sauce and mushrooms; side salad or side of steamed green beans.
Thursday - Baked potatoes with veggie chili.
Friday - hopefully we will have nothing to do, and we can just heat up a Newman's Own frozen pizza

lingonberries - where do you get them, how are they sold? I have only had them in restaurants!
IKEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I thought I was going to get there and I haven't so I may have to push this off to next week.
it's the 30 year anniversary of my grandma passing and I wanted to honor her. she's the first person I ever remember cooking with in the kitchen.
