Shampoo for oily hair??
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to not have to wash my hair everyday, but if I go ONE day without, I look like a greasy mess :( Any suggestions to be able to go a day or 2?

Re: Shampoo for oily hair??
get a clarifying shampoo.. that will help.
also, when you condition, only condition the shaft and ends, NOT the scalp..
oh, also invest in a good dry shampoo..
I use the spray by Tressemme.. it's fantastic!

Have you tried dry shampoo for the days in between washes?

I love the one by Oscar Blandi... I use it a lot. I get it at Sephora. It has definitely helped me! Sometimes I even go TWO days!!!

Re: Shampoo for oily hair??
Use a clarifying shampoo, once a week. I know if I don't, my hair won't even last a day before getting gross.

Re: Shampoo for oily hair??
My cousin who is a (my) hairdresser said to look for a "daily cleanser". Also, avoid the "pearly" or creamy shampoos. Go for something that looks clear (if that makes sense).

Re: Shampoo for oily hair??
I have oily hair and thought I could never go a day without washing my hair every day. Then I just decided to really give it a try and to be honest it was bad the 2nd day for like 2 maybe 3 weeks and then I think my oily scalp adjusted. After 3 or 4 months I could get away with day 3 but I to me it doesn’t feel fresh (others can’t tell). I don’t use any special shampoo I go to CVS and get the L’Oreal motorizing sulfate free shampoo only (2 washes) and I use a deep conditioner like every 3 washes.
