Cruise Questions- regarding towels
1. Do they provide towels for the pool or do we need to bring our own?
2. Do we have to bring our own beach towels for excursions?

I was on a Royal Caribbean cruise and towels were available for the pool and excursions...all you had to do was show them your SeaPass ID card, and they would write down how many towels you took out (its like a library card systen).
If you didnt return the towels after 1-2 days, then they woukd charge your room a Towel Fee ($25). We took 2 towels for the pools every day and also for a whole day excursion, never had any issues!

Don't wait to get your towels on excursion morning. The line can be long. Get them the night before when no one else is there. Same for the last night when everyone is returning them.

They provide the towels. Depending on the line they get put in your room (for excursions) or are out by the pool. Other lines you get it as you are getting off the ship.

carnival provides a beach/pool/excursion towel in the room upon arrival. just make sure you bring them back to your room. if dirty, leave on the floor and you will get a new one.

Celebrity has pool towels right next to the pool area, and for beach towels on excursion days the room steward brings them to your room.
There was no line to wait for towels anywhere on the ship

That's why Celebrity is great.
RC (what the OP is going on) is different, you need to check out and wait on line for towels.
