I Love Sur La Table
My Shun knife needed cpr..they replaced it..no receipt, no questions asked.
I ended up getting an even better knife but that was my choice.

Manhasset, Soho, Upper East side..
I went to the Soho store since I'm downtown.
I alsmost shipped it off to Shun and then thought I should call them first.
So glad I did. Yes it cost me an expensive cab ride but I didn't have to wait months to get my new knife.
And they will sharpen any kife even if you didn't buy it there.
Do I have knives for them!

not sure. I know they run specials sometimes with free sharpening during sales.
I will let you know what I find out.

Well if you are making a trip to Nassau one day, grab your knives! You will love this store! For me it's as good as buying shoes..I get the same feeling. This beats any bed bath & beyond or Williams Sonoma any day.

I used my new knife today and there is already a nic in the blade. It's going back.
I'm done with the Shun Knives.
I'm really disappointed but I know they will do the right thing.
Man, I loved this knife.
