Spinoff to changing - DC in love with his changing table?
I noticed someone posted this as well....
Since Cailen was 2 wks old, when I put him down on the changing table, he gets very calm, smiley, and very interactive... he will even lift his legs and tush for me to help with the changing.... I think its his favorite place ever!!!
This was the 1st time he smiled - on the changing table.... maybe something about associating it with getting his little hiney clean???

When my DD had colic, she would often sleep on her changing table. Sounds crazy but before she was moving all over the place, I would just buckle her on the changing pad and bundle her in a blanket. She's had some great naps there!!!

That's one of my DD favorite spots. It is where I get her to giggle the most

I wonder why that is? Is it the "scoop" in the middle???

My DD LOVES her changing table. That's where she babbles the most. Part of I think is due to the window by it. But ever since she was a newborn, she always came to life while she was laying there.

Yup, Troy is the same way! He LOVES his changing table. The ONLY time he fusses there is when he's hungry!

That definitely could be. I've been so desperate as to take the changing pad and put it in her bassinet. Sometimes it worked too!!!

My DD is the same way! She absolutely loves the changing table. She smiled & giggled for the first time there. I'm going to be sad when we have to get rid of it.
We had hooked up a stuffed lion toy ("Mr. Lion") on the side rail and she'd love to bat at it and talk to it. Her face would light up when she saw it.

Re: Spinoff to changing - DC in love with his changing table?
DD went through a major changing table obsession- she'd sleep on it, play on it, hang out on it, etc...I guess it's pretty normal!

Yes! DDs love the changing table too. They do calm down on it - I guess they know they're getting a new diaper!
