Spinoff to my other ? - Does your outdoor GFI (with xmas lights plugged in) trip when it rains?

My GFI did not trip today, and it was raining alot. My old home, my GFI would trip. So I am not sure if my GFI is working. We shut the breaker and unplugged it, then turned the breaker back on. I guess we will check tomorrow if the GFI is working, by pressing the set/reset buttons.

So does your outdoor GFI trip when it rains if stuff is plugged in?

Ours did today (and keeps tripping if I reset it) just like it did last year when it rained and we had the outside lights set up.

Weirdly, last year all that snow did not trip it, nor did it trip when it started to melt.

I've tripped indoor GFI outlets, but I haven't tripped the outside one yet. I have 4 nets of lights over some bushes, two garland strands, and an outlet block outside, so there is plenty of potential, but in 3 years, I've never had an issue.
