if you get a BFP....

would you want DH there when you take the HPT or do you prefer to take the test solo and surprise him (i.e. give him a cute onesie or something fun).

I usually test solo and prefer it that way....DH asked me this AM not to test again without him there (since he's feeling optimistic this month too), I thought that was the cutest thing especially since he's not a mushy guy....I wanted to surprise him in some way and take the test by myself....but hello, here I go again getting ahead of myself hoping for a BFP this month!

personally i like to test by myself. only because i start testing so early on that dh will tell me to stop

considering that your dh asked you not to test then i would wait for him. it'll be an exciting moment for both of you to share

i use to test alone and then want to run to tell dh..i even had the onsie to surprise him at one point...now i just wait for the doc with my beta

I only want to test with DH home so that we find out together
I mean... he won't be in the bathroom with me or anything... but I will probably wait the 5 minutes with the test in the bedroom or run in there with it if I should see a + first!

The first 2 times I gpt BFPs I kind of expected them to be positive so I took them when DH was home but didn't tell him I was testing. I just came out of the BR and showed him. Next time I think I want to put DD in a "Big Sister" shirt so when he gets home from work he sees it being that he leaves before i wake up in the morning.

I test Solo...I do this because I would like to suprise him in a cute way!!! But knowing me that would never happen..I would have to tell him ASAP..and if he is working I just can just see me getting in my car and finding out where he is patrolling that night!!!
