We used Steve Simpson at US Mortgage. They are a direct lending company located in Levittown. The process was so easy with him and we closed less than a month after we signed.

Just want to second the recommendation of Steve Simpson. I work with him often -- he currently is helping me with another LIF'ers purchase -- and he is very knowledgeable, always accessible, and very proactive about the process.
And his bank is fast! Closing within 30 days is something he has done over and over for us - - it's not an anomaly for him.
US Mortgage is actually a national company with multiple offices on LI (Steve is based in Levittown, as the pp said).
