Mortgage Brokers
How do they get paid... from the buyer looking for the mortgage or from the bank that the buyer chooses?

Our broker got paid by both, us and the bank. The fee that we paid was nominal though. I had a panic attack when I saw how much the bank fee was, thinking we'd have to pay that as well.
