Starting Clomid

tomorrow !!!!!!!! taking it from cd5-9

they said my lining was nice and thin today af is almost done and over with. i swear ever since i started drikning that raseberry leaf tea af as gotten shorter and i only have a heavy flow on cd 1.

they also saw a bunch of follies in my right ovary hope the clomid gives me a few good ones for next weeks visit.

i was told to start using opk on cd 10. does that seem right from what i read i thought i needed to wait a few days after my last clomid pill. i havent started using a opk on cd 10 in months. i usually get a on cd12-14.

the nurse did say clomid might mess up my cycle a bit and have me get my later. has this happened to anyone?

Good Luck; clomid gave me such horrible hot flashes! Clomid from what I remember did mess up my cycle. I did the ovidrel shot so I did not do OPK's, if you feel comfortable starting OPK's before CD 10 then by all means; it def won't hurt anything!!

Yay so glad you got it and you're starting it!

Every single time I've done it, they told me to do the digital OPK starting on CD 10 and sono on CD13. I always used to O on my own, but they've had me trigger every single time.
Yes, I totally notice a difference w/my AF (totallly shorter, almost nonexistent flow) and I totally surge much later than I used to. I always O'd on CD13 and CD14 before according to the CBEFM. Now, by CD16 I still haven't surged and I use the trigger! I had IUI on CD17 and 18.

The only thing Clomid has done to me is headaches. Other than that, I feel good.

I did google about starting on cd 10 and most of the post i read said that pcos plays a huge part on the false postive which i do not have. im guessing between that and since i O on my own they said 10.

can wait to find out what they see next friday/cd12.

i hopeeeee the clomid doesnt mess up my cycle i would love to get a on cd 13 like i normally do that way we can do our first iui on a sunday. but with my luck it will be on a weekday. wah wah

almost forgot. i shouldnt get to ahead of myself. i have my hsg on monday. which im scared they will tell me my tubes are blocked

Good luck!!! I've been taking clomid for about 6 cycles now (this is my 7th). I never get a positive OPK so I have to get HCG on CD 16 to O.

When I took clomid from CD5-9 it did make me O on a diff day than I usually did, but for me it was earlier cause had loooong cycles. I always O'd around CD19 on clomid
