starting clomid tonight

when on clomid did you take it for a week and then go for blood and sono I though it was weird that they want me to start tonight and not get checked in the middle of the week sometime and when did you take it in the AM or PM I was thinking to take it before bed tonight?? were there any side effects??

i took mine for 5 days. they did a sono the day they gave me the prescription and then i went back like a week later for bloodwork and a sono and then alternated b/t bloodwork and bloodwork w/ sono after that.
The first time around 50mg the side effects weren't really bad but i did get hot flashes. good luck!

I also took it days 5-9 and went back for blood and sono. I 50 mg for 3 cycles and responded very well. only side effect for me was some hot flashes. i took it at night.

I take Clomid from CD 5-9 also. 50 mg..I go for a sono around CD 11 to check follie size and estradiol. Then, I go back around CD 15(or after a positive) to make sure I ovulated via estradiol, LH and progesterone

I took it for 5 days - CD3-CD7. 50mg, I took it at night and didn't have any side effects.
I went for a sono on CD10 and CD12- so far. Going for bloodwork on Wed. which will be CD 15 and another sono on CD18.
