another thanksgiving thread: what is your "game plan"

for those who will be doing the majority of the cooking, what is your plan of attack??


this is the first time i'm putting a "multi-day" plan together. let's hope for the best.

wednesday:
make ahead the mashed potatoes
make corn bread for stuffing
bake all the desserts

thursday:
make all the other sides and wait until SO finishes with the bird before i use the oven (while bird is resting)

i hope it comes together as simple as it looks typed up

Wednesday:

Prepare all sides except mashed potatoes and salad.

Wednesday night:

Brine turkey

Thursday:

Roast turkey, heat all sides, make mashed potatoes and salad.

I've done this the past two years and it makes Thanksgiving Day a lot less stressful and enjoyable!

I dont do thanksgiving. My mom does and I think she starts cooking from Sunday!
