Lobster Roll Rave
So before this weekend, DH and I have never had a lobster roll. I know, silly, but it's something we've always wanted to try, but never got around to doing. So he recently saw Food Feuds on the Food Network, and they did a lobster roll episode in the city. So Saturday, we took the day, went into the city and went to Luke's Lobster downtown in the financial district.......and can I say....OMG. Freaking DELICIOUS!
Think warm buttered, toasted roll, LOTS of REAL lobster meat, spices, and a hint of mayo.
Next time we're going to Ed's Lobster Bar, who was Luke's competitor on the show. But for a first time lobster roll endeavor, this was fantastic!

i LOVE lobster rolls. To me, they evoke the best of summers out east- sitting in among green grass next to vinyards, basking in the sun, sunsets on the beach with wine. Aaahhhhhh

YUM! I work right by here, maybe I should surprise DH tonight! I wonder how they would do with 30 minute travel time?? Thoughts?

sounds awesome. I am a lobster roll purest. If they are not done exactly the way a real lobster roll should be, I get really upset. haha. This one sounds very good! Nothing worse then a ton of mayo to ruin a lobster roll.

I make my own once in a while with Trader Joe's langostino tails. Comes out yummy
