Cooking with greek yogurt???- It worked!

Has anyone tried cooking meals with greek yogurt instead of sour cream or cream cheese?

For example, when I make chicken enchiladas, I make the sauce with cream cheese and salsa because that is what the recipe calls for. Would it be tasty if I substituted the cream cheese for plain greek yogurt? It would definitely make it healthier even though I use low fat cream cheese. I'd like to try it but DH and I are scared of ruining a whole batch of enchiladas if it comes out bad.

I made onion dip with Greek yogurt and we couldn't tell the difference.

I do it all the time in cooking or just eating. There is no difference and it's better for you!

I just wanted to update my original post to say it worked great! My enchiladas tasted delicious and I couldn't even tell I substituted cream cheese with yogurt! The consistency of the filling was a bit thinner but no big deal. I substituted the cream cheese with Chiobani 2% yogurt...I am including the link to the original recipe. If you use yogurt, use the 2% and not the fat free...the 2% is way thicker than fat free so it's better in this recipe. And it is way healthier than even reduced fat cream cheese.
