Making Pie Pops for Turkey Day and I have some questions

I am going to make pie pops for Turkey day and have some questions!

1. How many pops does 1 store bought crust yield if using 2" cutters?

2. Have you used the store bought pumpkin, apple or blueberry filling? If so, did you do anything to those fillings to "jazz" it up?

3. If you didn't use store bought fillings; what recipes did you use for Apple, Pumpkin and Blueberry?

4. Can you put the pop together the day before thanksgiving and then bake them that morning?

Re: Making Pie Pops for Turkey Day and I have some questions

1. I'd say about 15-20. I think I had about 35-40 in total and used two boxes of the pillsbury crusts (which comes with 2 crusts to roll out in the box).

2. I've done it both ways- I made homemade apple filling and I've done canned raspberry filling (since I hate working with fresh raspberries, despite loving the taste). I jazzed it up by adding dark chocolate chips, but otherwise, nope, just added the filling. I did also drizzle melted chocolate on the tops of the raspberry pops, but that was mostly for design and so you can tell which ones were apple and which were raspberry.

3. I used the apple filling recipe directly from the pie pop recipe post that I found. Link.

4. Hmmm, I guess you could if you had a ton of cookie trays and a whole lotta of plastic wrap but it's not really feasible. They stay well once baked, though they are amazing right out of the oven, so I'd probably just make them the night before and call it a day.

ETA: Once you roll them out, you really have to fill them on the cookie sheet. You can't really move them at that point until they are baked.

Re: Making Pie Pops for Turkey Day and I have some questions

I made pumpkin pie pops a few weeks ago and posted the recipe. Recipe Post

1. How many pops does 1 store bought crust yield if using 2" cutters?
- The recipe that I used called for 2-9" pie crusts. I made my own and ended up with about 20 pops.

2. Have you used the store bought pumpkin, apple or blueberry filling? If so, did you do anything to those fillings to "jazz" it up?
- I made the pumpkin pie filling and it was SO easy and SO delish! I think it's worth the extra effort.

3. If you didn't use store bought fillings; what recipes did you use for Apple, Pumpkin and Blueberry?
- Recipe in my link above.

4. Can you put the pop together the day before thanksgiving and then bake them that morning?
-Yes, I def think so! I just wouldn't bake them in advance bc they are better warm and fresh.
