PCOS'ers come in
When you are not amidst fertility treatments, do you feel twinges that feel like O pain? I've been getting them randomly for the past 3 weeks but I haven't O'ed and I doubt I'm going to.
Just trying to understand what it might be.

I do!!! So weird. First of all Ive never got a smiley face but yet I do get O symptoms. EWCM and little pinching feelings. Ugh, I just want all my tests results back so we can start treatment already.

Me too! This whole process is a waiting nightmare. Two week wait, waiting for tests, waiting for results, waiting for AF, waiting to see about Oing, waiting in the waiting room at the RE office (okay too far, haha).

Re: PCOS'ers come in
Honestly, I would go through all the typical symptoms of a cycle but just never got AF. I would bloat, cramp, PMS, etc but never bled. It was so frustrating! Never knew if it was mind games or just my body wacking out.

Re: PCOS'ers come in
I get twinges and sometimes pain in my ovaries. I always just assume its cysts. If I went by that for O I would think I am Oing most days!! Today is CD 28 no +opk but I've had twinges pretty much every day.
So annoying!!!! PCOS is a POS...I liked that the other day Cate!

I've also read that PCOS can cause irregular patterns of CM....so that doesn't help either!!

I read it in Taking Charge of Your Fertility so basically there's no way to detect O other than temping bc pcos gives us O pains, CM and + opks when we aren't Oing!!

Re: PCOS'ers come in
when i was TTC before i did fertility treatments i def got a million signs of O and would never actually O until at least CD30. if i didn't O by then i generally would go 60 or 90 days and not O and end up on provera. i had sooooooooooo many false alarms that by the time the real thing came we were all out. I usually only had true EWCM if i was going to O. i had close to it many many many times, but it was only true EWCM when i was going to O. that was the one and only sign that was somewhat reliable. i also temped so i knew when i really did O and when my LH was just high throwing off the signs.
now im almost 6m post partum and i havent gotten AF back yet although i am nursing still (but i dont make a ton of milk). im trying to figure out whether AF isnt here because of nursing of because or PCOS...its impossible to know without bloodwork but i think its cause of nursing cause between CM and twinges..TMI but there is literally NOTHING going on down there
