is it bad to eat at a buffet like Minado?
i'd eat there all the time before being pregnant and they have pretty good quality rolls and hot food... i read somewhere that buffets are bad so am worried  what do you think?

I've eaten at plenty of buffets while preggo, but I always eat with caution. I eat only the hot foods and none of the cold salads etc. I am not so much concerned with what I can eat and what I can't... My worry is food poisioning!!
I would not trust sushi at a buffet bc who knows how long it has been sitting there! So go and have a good time, but I'd stick to the hot foods only.

personally, i would stay away from buffets while preggo... you never know how long the food has been sitting out and whether its at a safe temperature, who has been breathing on it, etc...

While I'd be wary at other buffets, I've been to Minado quite a few times and I personally would feel comfortable eating there.

me too. MInado is the only buffet that I really like and I'd feel comfortable eating there too. HOwever, I just don't feel like I'd get my money's worth since I can't have any of the raw sushi and that's what I go for

Buffets in general gross me out bc i dont like to eat after someone else has picked thru my food. Ive not heen to Minado so I cant comment on their buffet. As PP mentioned I hardly eat and would not be getting my $$ worth. PS. Im very picky.
