Chicken question
So..our butcher had a terrific deal on 10 lbs. of chicken..we bought two bags! LOL...we put it in the freezer since we dropped it off on the way to other errands..is it too late to try and separate it into smaller bags? I will never need 10 lbs. at one time and we don't eat that much in a week, even...help!

Re: Chicken question
You shouldn't defrost and re-freeze, but if they are only partially frozen at this point and you can get the pieces apart, I say go for it!

Re: Chicken question
Yes, you can definitely re-freeze once it's cooked!

Re: Chicken question
Can you try slamming the bag on the floor or with something to break the up a bit? Kind like what you do with a bag of ice
