Where to by dining room furniture?
I am looking for a table with a leaf that seats at least 6, and a buffet. We are getting our floors redone in a couple of weeks so I want to start looking.

Got mine from Fortunoff. Out of business, so that doesn't help you. Actually I see it posted on the related posts below. 
I am pretty sure we are getting our new set from Bassett. They have the Custom option and you can design everything (size, shape, chairs, stain).

Mine is a Broyhill set that I got from Rte 110 Furniture in Farmingdale. It's a formal, traditional set (dark wood) with a contemporary look (clean lines, not ornate). My table seats 6 but has 2 leafs that can extend it to seat 12. I also got a china cabinet with a hutch and a sideboard/buffet piece. I am very happy with the look and the quality - and I got a great deal because I bought the floor sample.
But I would also recommend Bassett, which the previous poster mentioned. I got my formal living room furniture from there, and I was very happy with the customer service, design assistance, and custom options!

Thomasville, Mitchell Gold Bob Williams, Potterybarn, Crate and Barrel, ABC home and Carpet DWR, Room and Board, Ligne Roset and DDC. PB, CB, TV and LR can be found on LI. The others are in the city.
